Novels
My narrative style is rooted in deep psychological and sensory immersion. I’m drawn to the complexities of the human condition, especially as it unfolds within contemporary social and political landscapes. Themes like migration and resilience aren’t just events in my stories — they’re deeply personal journeys, shaped through the inner lives of my characters. I strive for prose that’s both evocative and atmospheric, often using metaphor—such as recurring bird imagery—to mirror the quiet beauty and brutality of displacement.
In my thrillers, I approach suspense not through spectacle, but through psychological and intellectual tension. The conflict lies in the minds of characters entangled in sophisticated networks of power, deceit, and control. I aim to fuse literary depth with narrative drive, creating stories that don’t just entertain but invite readers to feel what my characters endure — not from a distance, but from within.

Essays
My essays are born from the intersection of literature, lived experience, and critical inquiry. I write to explore the structures—both visible and invisible—that shape contemporary Latin American realities: migration as rupture and rebirth, corruption as systemic inheritance, violence as both spectacle and silence. Rather than offering simple commentary, I aim to uncover the narratives behind the headlines — the stories buried beneath policies, borders, and historical amnesia.
Through a literary lens, I examine how memory, identity, and power operate in everyday life. I draw on philosophy, narrative theory, and firsthand observation to interrogate the forces that define and deform our collective experience. Each essay is a dialogue — with my region, my readers, and with the ethical questions we can no longer afford to ignore. I write not only to analyze, but to invite reflection, discomfort, and ultimately, connection.

Short Stories
My short stories, podcasts, and chronicles form an interconnected web of storytelling that brings contemporary Latin American themes to life in diverse and intimate ways. Through fiction, I distill complex social issues—migration, corruption, violence—into personal, often haunting moments that capture the tension between hope and despair. Each story seeks to reveal the invisible threads connecting individual lives to broader historical and political forces.
In my podcasts, I extend this exploration into conversation and reflection, blending narrative fragments, interviews, and literary insight to engage listeners in the ongoing dialogue about identity, memory, and resistance. These audio pieces create a space where literature meets lived experience, inviting audiences to listen deeply and think critically.
My chronicles document the pulse of everyday realities—moments of resilience and rupture, silence and outcry—offering a journalistic yet poetic lens on the region’s evolving stories. Together, these formats allow me to explore the multifaceted nature of Latin America, crafting a mosaic of voices and perspectives that challenge, inspire, and connect.
